14 October: LBM Pathway - Animation

Today we have started a new, interesting topic: Animation.

The first homework was take picture of stereotyphes. I was in Central London, and I focus my attention on people on the street.
I used a camera from the CLR I never used before, so a lot of this photo was blurred or no in focus. It was more difficult than I thought.

I goes to the Photographer galleries.
It was very interesting and I loved the works of Lorenzo Vitturi.

LESSON:

Film, photography and animation are all about framing: looking at the world through a lens.
THE GOLDEN RATIO AND THE RULES OF THIRD

The golden ratio is a mathematical equation wich has continued to surprise artists.
The Golden ratio is often found in nature (like snails, shells, etc).

Types of shot:
- extreme close up
- close up
- mid shot
- long shot
- extreme long shot
- establishing shot
- pan
- zoom
- track
- crane

Camera angle
Where you place your camera can dramatically change the way the viewer reacts to a scene.
The camera angle is never just there because it's technically difficult. It's about mood.

Framing
You can use framing to break up the rectangle.
Framing or staging.
