I started doing some research on the artists I could choose.
I chose a graphic designer who is related to my path.
My list was quite diverse and rich in female names.
The first names I had chosen included:
- Scarlet Duba
- Fanette Mellier, who impressed me greatly with her works and their diversity, but the old and rough design of her website left me disappointed.
- Tine Bech, not exactly a graphic designer, but the workshop about her interactive design work that we attended really inspired me, since I had chosen an interactive design personal project in the last term(interactive design in the XXXXXXX room at Tate Britain)
- Milton Glaser
- Neville Brody (graduate at LCC)
- Alan Fletcher
Eventually though, after much research, my final choice was Stefan Sagmeister, because of his original works, his desire to push against the boundaries of rules (and sometimes sanity). I really like his out-of-the-box thought process, and I hope I can use this essay to gain inspiration and be more creative in my next projects.
