Project 4: Research

After watching all the videos and having the brief in class, I decided to do more research about mental illnesses. I needed to know facts, data, stories about it, to have a clear picture of the topic.

So, I looked online, to find inspiration and information.

These are the websites that are relevant for my research:

Mental health statistics, facts and myths: statistics are important to have data and facts. Facts give us a real vision of how big the problem is. Myths are very important, because they can lead to stigma. And it's exactly what I want to fight with my campaign.

When you do ads that make fun of ads, try not to make fun of mental illness: post about how bad a campaign can be when the art director doesn't think about the impact on people with mental conditions.
This are different example of how I DO NOT WANT to do in my campaign. Always think about the impact of the ads and what effects can have on different people.

BBQ joint ad mocks vegetarians and mental health campaigns:  another ad that mocks a mental health campaign. Not only the company doesn't have respect for people that suffer from mental problems, but in this case they don't pay respect to vegetarians/vegans either. Bad ad.
